ประโยค  Past perfect tense แปลเป็นไทย คือ ประโยคอดีตกาลสมบูรณ์ หมายถึง เรื่องราว เหตุการณ์ ได้เกิดขึ้น และจบลงอย่างสมบูรณ์ ในอดีตที่ผ่านมาครับ
หลักสังเกตุ คือ Past perfect tense โดยปกติแล้วจะไม่มาโดดๆ ตัวเดียว แต่จะมาเป็นคู่ๆ หรือ นกเขาคู่ /หรือเพราะเราคู่กัน กล่าวคือจะใช้ควบคู่กันกับ ประโยคอดีตกาลธรรมาดา ๆ เสมอ คือ Past tense นั้นเอง คงจำรูปได้นะ Subject + V2 นั้นเอง 

เมื่อนำมาใช้คู่กัน  Past Perfect Tense จะแสดงถึงเหตุการณ์ที่ 1 ที่เกิดขึ้นและจบลงอย่างสมบูรณ์ แล้วก็จะมีอีกเหตุการณ์ เพิ่มเข้ามา เป็นเหตุการณ์ที่ 2 ซึ่งเราจะใช้ Past simple กับเหตุการณ์ที่สอง ครับ !
