คำสับสนอลหม่าน Rise/Raise

Confusing Words - Rise/Raise เป็นคำกริยาที่ผู้ใช้งานมักจำสับกันและใช้งานผิดบ่อยๆ ทางแก้ไขก็คือต้องทบทวนและใช้งานบ่อยๆ ครับ แล้วก็จะจำได้ คุ้นเคยและใช้ได้ถูกไปเองแบบอัตโนมัติเลยครับ
มาดู คำกริยา - Rise/Raise ไรซ และ เรสซ ตัวเอง เป็นคำกริยาที่หมายถึง ยกตัว ขึ้นสูงขึ้น ลอยขึ้นสูง เป็นกริยาที่ไม่ต้องมีกรรม object มารองรับ สามารถทำกริยานั้นๆ ด้วยตัวมันเอง เช่น The sun rise in the morning พระอาทิตย์ขึ้นในตอนเช้า เป็นต้น โดยพระอาทิตย์มันลอยขึ้นด้วยตัวมันเอง ไม่มีใครมายกหรือทำให้มันลอยขึ้น
ส่วน Raise เป็นกริยาเช่นกัน แต่ต้องมีกรรม object มารองรับเสมอ เช่น The students who absent from school yesterday, raise your hand please. นักเรียนที่ไม่ได้มาโรงเรียนเมื่อวานนี้ ขอความกรุณาให้ Raise มือขึ้นด้วย
