กริยา transitive หรือ intransitive

การใช้คำกริยาในภาษาอังกฤษ มีหลักการที่เราควรทราบอยู่หลายประการ ซึ่ง transitive or intransitive ก็เป็นอีกหนึ่งหลักการใช้งาน ที่เราควรทราบ เพื่อสามารถเข้าใจและใช้งานได้อย่างไม่ติดขัดนั้นเองครับ
ความแตกต่างระหว่าง transitive or intransitive ก็คือคำกริยาที่ต้องการ กรรม มารองรับ และคำกริยาที่ไม่ต้องการ กรรม มารองรับ นั้นเอง
โดย transitive ต้องการ กรรมหรือส่วนขยาย มารองรับ จึงจะใช้งานได้ และสมบูรณ์
สำหรับ intransitive จะไม่ต้องการกรรม หรือ ส่วนขยายมารองรับ ก็เข้าใจ และสมบูรณ์ในตัวเอง
Verbs can be either transitive or intransitive. A transitive verb requires a direct object. An intransitive verb cannot have a direct object. In each sentence, decide whether the verb is transitive or intransitive.
